If there are nearby cues, the merge cue will be appended to the base file cue that is the most nearby. When merging cues from the merge file into the base file, the tool will look for nearby cues that are within the specified milliseconds threshold value. The nearest cue merge is similar to the simple merge, except that you can set a nearest cue threshold value. Keep in mind that not all video players support showing subtitles on top of the screen. You can select the option to make the merge subtitle appear at the top of the screen. The cues from both files are combined into one file.Ĭue style and cue timings are not changed. Using the simple mode, the merge file will simply be merged into the base file. This tool has multiple modes for merging subtitles, they are described below. The format of the base file will not be changed. The merge file will be merged into the base file. This tool requires two files, a base file and a merge file. You can then merge subtitles for the foreign language into the original subtitle file. Merging subtitles can also be useful when your subtitles wrongly assume that the video has hard-coded subtitles for parts where a foreign language is spoken, Subtitles with multiple languages can also help when studying a new language. Multi language subtitles are useful when watching shows with someone that has a different native language than you do. Hope that doesn't screw things up.Combining two subtitle files is usually used to create multi language subtitles. I think I'll start a new post under this subject. LaunchAfter=J:\daemon\daemon.exe -unmount 0ĬonfigFile= Exit (ENTER, ALT+F4) RomPath=J:\Lucas\Grim Fandango\Game\Disk2Ĭommand=daemon.exe -mount 0,"J:\Lucas\Grim Fandango\Game\Disk2\Grim Fandango - Disc 2.nrg" ini as I have it now but dont know if it will work till I get to the end of disk one: I now have it set up as a different Emulator, Here is my.

Or do I need to set it up as a different Emulator and start up the game again with the command line and mount the image in the Launch before line in the Gamex config? Do I just mount the CD image with Daemon Tools with a command line like this? :ĭaemon.exe -mount 0,"J:\Lucas\Grim Fandango\Game\Disk2\Grim Fandango - Disc 2.nrg" I'm not sure how to set up Gamex to start up the second disc. The disc swap is essentially quiting the game and starting the game from the second disc image. I haven't heard any more discussion about it here, so I think people who have this problem just save prior to swapping discs. I think the one game that people tried this technique on first sorta worked, but not exactly. There was discussion about combining 2 ISOs into a single ISO so that you could load it up easier.
